DHS Systems Support

DHS Systems Support serves as a liaison between various information technology experts and other non-IT constituencies within and outside the university.  These liaison relationships help to enhance data integrity and enforce compliance with university adopted system standards on behalf of the Health Sciences Division. Types of Banner Finance General Ledger system functions include the approval of Banner Finance General Ledger Security user requests and the approval of Delegation of Authority (DOA) System Access Requests.  This area is also responsible for creation and system maintenance of Banner Finance Chart elements, such as Funds, Organizations & Activity Codes.

Produce various annual financial surveys on behalf of the ECU Brody School of Medicine such as the Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME) Annual Part 1-A Financial Questionnaire, AAMC Operations Management Survey (OMS), and AAMC Department Administrator Compensation Survey (DAC).  The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) surveys and other peer review agency surveys are essential to the medical school’s accreditation process and/or key for medical school benchmarking.

Provide division level financial analysis and/or ad hoc reporting for special projects as requested.
