Office of the Executive Associate Vice Chancellor

The Executive Associate Vice Chancellor serves as the principal business and financial officer for the Division of Health Sciences. These responsibilities include the following units.

  • DHS Financial Accounting
    • Responsible for general ledger and cost accounting functions for the Division of Health Sciences across multiple funding sources.
    • Provide accounting and financial management support services to the ECU Medical & Health Sciences Foundation.
  • DHS Budget and Contracts
    • Budgeting services for DHS State budgets and ECU Physicians budgets.
    • Management of the complete accounting cycle for all DHS Contracts.
  • DHS Business Intelligence
    • Delivers advanced reporting solutions and analyses that transform data into information to promote powerful business decision-making.
  • DHS Systems Support
    • Liaison between various information technology experts and other non-IT constituents within and outside the university
    • External reporting for regulatory and professional organizations (e.g., Association of Academic Health Centers, American Association of Medical Colleges)
