About Us

DHS Administration and Finance, consists of the following units: DHS Financial Accounting, DHS Budget and Contracts, DHS Business Intelligence,
DHS Systems Support, and ECU Physicians Clinical Financial Services.

  • DHS Financial Accounting
    • Responsible for general ledger and cost accounting functions for the Division of Health Sciences across multiple funding sources.
    • Provide accounting and financial management support services to the ECU Medical & Health Sciences Foundation.
  • DHS Budget and Contracts
    • Budgeting services for DHS State budgets and ECU Physicians budgets.
    • Management of the complete accounting cycle for all DHS Contracts.
  • DHS Business Intelligence
    • Delivers advanced reporting solutions and analyses that transform data into information to promote powerful business decision-making.
  • DHS Systems Support
    • Liaison between various information technology experts and other non-IT constituents within and outside the university
    • External reporting for regulatory and professional organizations (e.g., Association of Academic Health Centers, American Association of Medical Colleges)
