Financial Accounting

This office is responsible for ECU Health, clinical operations, State, indirect, and special fund accounting function. Includes:

• Division-level review of purchasing and other expenditures
• Processing of journal entries in the Banner accounting system
• Procedural support and training for schools, departments, and units on purchasing and other accounting functions

Oversees the planning, organization, and administration of the various functions included within the department of Financial Services, including budgeting, financial accounting, and cash management.

Develops and implements policies and procedures that assure proper internal control, as well as efficient and effective operations. Fosters positive and effective communication with and support of the departments through the various financial services provided.
